Bistan is a Nagar Parishad in Indore district in the Indianstate of Madhya Pradesh. Bistan is the tehsil office headquarters under the district of Indore covering 150 villages under its jurisdiction. The Bistan Nagar Parishad was established in the year of 1983. It is said that Sanwer is more than 250 years old town. Bistan has excellent four lane road connectivity between Indore and Ujjain provided by Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
